The Thai Actor and Singer Joins as the Newest Face of the Iconic Fashion House
Gucci has strengthened its ties to Thailand with the announcement of Thai actor and singer Billkin, real name Putthipong Assaratanakul, as its latest brand ambassador. Billkin gained fame in Thailand in 2019 with award-winning television series and successful music releases under his own label, Billkin Entertainment.
Billkin attended several Gucci events in Thailand in 2021, and joins actor and singer Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong and actress Davika Hoorne as Gucci’s third Thai ambassador.
Billkin shared his excitement about the appointment, stating, “Collaborating with the brand was already a great compliment to my craft, but to be named brand ambassador is truly a pinnacle point for me.”
Other ambassadors at Gucci include Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, actor and singer Xiao Zhan, British soccer player Jack Grealish, rapper and entrepreneur Jay Park, Japanese actor Jun Shison, and figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu.
