Kenzo Launches Spring 2024 Collection in Collaboration with Verdy

A Close Friend Of Nigo’s, the Graphic Artist Lends His Signature Aesthetic to Elevated Classics

Kenzo has launched its collaboration with Japanese graphic artist Verdy, which was featured as part of the brand’s Spring 2024 collection.

A close friend of Nigo’s, Verdy exudes a pop-art sensibility through playful designs and vibrant colors that tap into themes of youth culture, rebellion, and nostalgia. His work – with influences ranging from skateboarding and hip-hop to manga – has been described as a fusion of Japanese and Western streetwear, making the artist the perfect creative addition to the East-meets-West journey that Nigo has envisioned for the brand.

Verdy’s signature vintage typeface is emblazoned across a number of pieces from the Spring 2024 collection, which are getting an early release in time for the holiday season. Collegiate sweaters and ballcaps proudly proclaim “Kenzo Paris,” while bomber jackets and shirts with a repeating motif point to the brand’s historic HQ, 18 Rue Vivienne.

The collection will be launched at an exclusive Kenzo pop-up store on the Champs-Élysées in Paris from December 2nd to December 17th, and at 10 Corso Como in Seoul from December 16th to December 26th.
