Louis Vuitton Celebrated The Opening of 200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries in Beverly Hills

Louis Vuitton celebrated the opening of 200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition at 468 North Rodeo Drive. Guest enjoyed the multi-room exhibition to DJ sets by Bobby French, M.I.A., and Lola Langusta. Attendees included Emma Chamberlain, Samara Weaving, Jaden Smith, Jurnee Smollett, Shay Mitchell, Ava DuVernay, Milly Alcock, Iris Apatow, Nina Dobrev, Ava Phillippe, Kerry Condon, Madeleine Arthur, Myha’la Herrold, Thuso Mbedu and Kaitlyn Dever.

200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition features 200 of today’s most innovative visionaries – including artists, athletes, actors, designers, and scientists – each of whom designed their own homage to the classic Louis Vuitton trunk to celebrate the 200th birthday of the Maison’s eponymous founder. Notable visionaries include Alex Israel, BTS, Gaetano Pesce, Gloria Steinem, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Lego, Nigo, Peter Marino, The Simpsons, and Susan Miller to name but a few.

All trunks are on display at Rodeo Drive, and individual rooms dedicated to specific visionaries inside the exhibition include the Brooklyn Balloon Company, DJ Benji B and architect Frank Gehry. Beverly Hills is the first US stop for this traveling exhibition; previous locations include Asnières, France, and Singapore.

200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition is open to the public July 29th – September 6th.
