Pharrell Williams’ Fall 2024 Collection Features a Special Footwear Collaboration with Timberland
Louis Vuitton has unveiled a capsule collection that draws inspiration from the workwear themes central to Pharrell Williams’ Fall 2024 Men’s show, “Paris to VA.” The collection includes ready-to-wear items, the limited-edition Keepall 50 Toolbox bag, and a highly anticipated boot collaboration with Timberland.
The ready-to-wear line merges traditional workwear elements with Louis Vuitton’s signature craftsmanship. The collection features versatile and refined suits in overdyed jacquards, with tones of brown, black, and beige. Trucker jackets and coats are designed with sculptural volume and include Western-style yokes and leather appliqué motifs. Turquoise-like buttons, pearls, embroideries, and studs add intricate details, showcasing the Maison’s expertise.
A standout item in the collection is the Keepall 50 Toolbox bag, a utility-inspired take on Louis Vuitton’s iconic Keepall. Made from natural leather, the bag retains its earthy hue and features multiple exterior pockets, rivets, and a lining of coated Monogram Canvas. Complementing the bag, the collection includes a steel flask and cigarette case with engravings, and a silk scarf.
The capsule also marks the debut of Louis Vuitton’s workwear boots in collaboration with Timberland, available for pre-order on LouisVuitton.com and the LV App since July 18, 2024, and in selected stores worldwide starting August 8, 2024.
Crafted in Louis Vuitton’s Italian shoe atelier in Fiesso d’Artico, the LV 6-Inch boot is available in two designs and several adaptations. Made from premium Italian nubuck leather, these boots feature an insulation system, seam-sealed waterproof construction, and a signature rubber lug outsole. The LV 6-Inch boot is offered in traditional wheat color or black, with Monogram-embossed tongue lining, Louis Vuitton eyelets, and leather tag adornments.
Expanding on the 6-Inch silhouette, the LV Boot comes in five different forms, each with the rubber lug outsole. Options include ankle boots, ranger boots, pull-on mid boots, and harness boots, available in wheat-colored or black grained leather or nubuck leather.
The brand is also releasing fifty special editions of the 6-Inch ankle boot. This luxurious boot is crafted from Classic Monogram waterproof Italian leather and features 18K gold LV tongue initials, eyelets, lace tips, and tag hardware. The tongue initials are inscribed with “THE SUN IS SHINING ON US,” a phrase from Pharrell Williams’ debut show for Louis Vuitton in June 2023. The boot is presented in a bespoke Monogram leather and plexiglass shoebox with VVN trims, as seen on the Fall 2024 runway.
