Review of Palm Angels x Vilebrequin ‘Swimwear Summer 2022’ Ad Campaign by Creative Director Francesco Ragazzi with Photographer Julian Cousins
Following up on last summer’s collaborative capsule, Palm Angels and Vilebrequin team up again for another swimwear drop.
The new beachwear collection combines aesthetics and references from both houses, introducing five new different prints that merge Palm Angels’ take on So-Cal culture through a Milanese perspective with Vilebrequin’s heritage of French luxury swimwear.
The collection is captured in a simple and sunny campaign that sees its models perched atop reflective plinths in a seemingly endless ocean, where the colors of sea and sky blend together and psychedelically reflect back and forth.
It’s a cool, no-nonsense campaign that effortlessly expresses the laidback yet energetic attitude of the collaborative collection.
