Self-Portrait and Gigi Hadid continue their stylish partnership for the brand’s new Fall 2023 campaign. The model and brand ambassador was lensed by photographer Tyrone Lebon, with art direction for the campaign by Ed Quarmby.

The succinct campaign features just three images of Hadid. The model poses on a balcony instantly recognizable as located in Paris from its classically elegant Hausmannian architecture. Meanwhile, Lebon captures her from the opposite building or from the street below, meaning that the façade dominates the entire image, but also creating a feeling of urban naturalism.

The accompanying brief videos offer another angle in this act of observation while setting the portraits in motion, and use the ambient sounds of the Parisian streets as its only soundtrack to further the study of fashion’s intersection with urban life.

The brand’s previous campaigns starring Gigi were shot in New York and London, so it only makes sense that the partnership would move on to Paris for its next installment. With striking composition that puts Self-Portrait’s recognizably vibrant vision in conversation with a classic embodiment of old-world elegance, the campaign is another strong statement of this duo’s place at the forefront of contemporary feminine fashion.
