Thom Browne shares a surreal and endlessly adorable new campaign for its Spring 2022 children’s collection. Balancing playfulness and whimsy with subtle sophistication, the campaign features creative direction from Thom Browne himself and photography by Cass Bird.

The campaign stars Jude Hill, the talented young lead of the critically acclaimed new film Belfast.

Through an inventive use of photo collage, the young cast finds themselves in a surreal and shrunken world of whimsy.

A once-small dog (portrayed by Thom Browne’s own dog, Hector, in a fun personal touch) towers over them, while adult legs stretch like skyscrapers far above and out of frame.

Though playful and whimsical, the film does also subtly tap into some of the real drama of childhood, the endless reminders that you are in a world too big for you, that you will understand when you’re older.

Supported by Thom Browne and his children’s collection’s distinct combination of the traditional and mature with the whimsical and imaginative, the campaign is thus an uplifting ode to the journey of childhood.
