Peter Do, Marni, Margiela & Mugler to Show During Paris Fashion Week

Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode reveals calendar featuring 67 runway shows and 41 presentations from Sept. 25 to Oct. 3.

The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has released the provisional schedule for Paris Fashion Week, set to run from September 25 to October 3, 2023. The Spring 2024 season will consist of 67 runway shows and 41 presentations, all of which will be available for digital viewing on the federation’s website.

Marni Fall 2023

In today’s news, Marni will be holding its first show in Paris as part of its series of itinerant shows, previously initiated in New York in September 2022. The Marni show is scheduled for September 27 at 1:30 p.m.

Returning labels to the Paris Fashion Week roster include Mugler, Maison Margiela, and Carven. Mugler’s show is slated for October 2 at 6 p.m., followed by Maison Margiela at 7:30 p.m. Carven will present its collection, the first under new Creative Director Louise Trotter, at 10:30 a.m. on September 30.

Casablanca and Kiko Kostadinov will also make their transition to the women’s calendar this season.

Belgian designer Marie Adam-Leenaerdt, who debuted off-schedule last season, will open the official calendar at 4 p.m. on September 25.

Key luxury brands like Saint Laurent, Balmain, Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Miu Miu will continue to occupy their traditional time slots.

Peter Do | Spring 2023 backstage

Peter Do and Duran Lantink, two designers who have been gaining recognition in the fashion industry, will be making their Paris debuts. Their shows are scheduled for 10 a.m. on September 26 and 4:30 p.m. on October 3, respectively.

First-time, on-schedule presenters this season include Caroline Hu, Christopher Esber, Paloma Wool, and 2023 LVMH Prize finalist Quira, designed by Veronica Leoni.

South Korean designer Kiminite Kimhekim and French outerwear brand Aigle, led by the Etudes trio of Aurélien Arbet, Jérémie Égry, and José Lamali, will return to presentations this season.

Ester Manas will be notably absent this season, as the brand focuses on “a new and expanded collection for March 2024,” according to a statement from Manas and partner Balthazar Delepierre.

The final calendar is anticipated to be published the week of September 11, as indicated by the French fashion federation.
