The New Line Responds to the Growing Trend of Activewear for Both Exercise and Life
Spanx has introduced a new activewear collection, Spanxsmooth OnForm, designed for low-intensity movement and general fashion needs. Made with the brand’s lightest compression level, the collection focuses on comfort, ease and support within its designs.
Kiana Miree, chief merchandising officer of Spanx, shared that their activewear variety keeps expanding annually due to customer demand. She said, “Our activewear assortment continues to grow year-over-year as our customers seek newness within the category to adapt to their ever-changing lifestyles. With the launch of Spanxsmooth OnForm, we’re delighted to offer expanded options to meet her needs and preferences, whether dressing for a workout class, everyday errands, travel and beyond.”
The collection utilizes fabric that’s breathable, sweat-wicking and quick-drying. It includes a selection of styles and silhouettes such as leggings and pants featuring flexible front waistbands designed for mid-tummy smoothing and maximum comfort. There are also low-impact sport bras and tops with removable cups, plus jumpsuits and jackets. Spanxsmooth OnForm debuts with seven styles, planning to add more soon.
The collection’s color palette covers very black, powder, petunia, fennel, smoke, and aubergine. The styles are designed to be interchangeable for creating personalized combinations.
