Significant Changes and Increased Anticipation Characterize a Jam-Packed Seasonal Lineup
The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has released the official calendar for Paris Fashion Week, which is set to be a major week characterized by several key changes to the event’s traditional timing and format. The week will kick off on March 3 and run through March 11, featuring a total of 109 events. The week will commence with the graduate collections from the Institut Français de la Mode at 3 p.m. and conclude with Saint Laurent’s show on March 11 at 8 p.m.
This season’s nine-day schedule largely maintains the structure of past seasons, with mainstays like Dior, Valentino, Chanel, and Miu Miu retaining their traditional slots. However, there are several significant scheduling changes to note. Stella McCartney has been scheduled for March 5 at 4 p.m., while Louis Vuitton has shifted to the 8 p.m. slot on Monday. Taking over Louis Vuitton’s typical position of closing out the week is Saint Laurent.
New to Paris women’s this season is Alaïa, set for March 4 at 7 p.m., moving from its previous timing between men’s and couture weeks. Additionally, Tom Ford will present its show on March 5 at 7 p.m., introducing Haider Ackermann as the new creative director.
Givenchy is slated to reveal its much anticipated debut collection from Sarah Burton, on March 7 at 11:30 a.m. That same day, Kenzo will showcase Nigo’s Fall 2025 womenswear at 5:30 p.m., following a shift from its previous co-ed format to a women-only show for this season only.
Further stoking rumors about an imminent change in creative leadership, Loewe has shifted to a co-ed presentation on March 10, after skipping the January shows. This season will also include first-time runway appearances by designers such as Burç Akyol, Christopher Esber, and 2024 LVMH Prize for Young Designers winner Hodakova.
Returning brands include Coperni, Marine Serre, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Off-White, Undercover, and Véronique Leroy. Notably absent this season are Mugler, Vêtements, and Carven, with Vêtements expected to return in September.
