The Maison brings together cultural figures for its first London event since debuting AW25
Lanvin, the oldest French couture house still in operation, hosted an intimate dinner in London last night, gathering friends of the Maison alongside notable figures from the art, fashion, media, and film worlds. Held at Clarke’s, the evening was hosted by Lanvin deputy chief executive officer Siddhartha Shukla and artistic director Peter Copping, who welcomed guests in a warm, informal setting. The dinner featured a menu created specifically for the occasion by chef and owner Sally Clarke, bringing a sense of London’s culinary heritage to the gathering.

Earlier in the afternoon, Copping participated in a public conversation at the Victoria and Albert Museum with Jo Ellison of the Financial Times. Their discussion traced his career path and his approach to interpreting Lanvin’s extensive heritage for the present day. The talk highlighted his work with the house’s archive and the V&A’s own collection of Jeanne Lanvin’s designs, underscoring the creative dialogue shaping his vision for the Maison.
The dinner and museum conversation marked Lanvin’s first formal moment in London since the debut of the Autumn Winter 2025 collection, which was Copping’s first for the house. The events reflected his British background while signalling Lanvin’s intent to continue deepening its cultural footprint in the city.
Guests in attendance included Bianca Jagger, Josie Rourke, Nathalie Emmanuel, Alvaro Barrington, Honor Swinton Byrne, Charlie Rowe, Emily Fairn, Dame Olivia Peyton-Jones, Kesewa Aboah, Mia Tharia, Róisín Tapponi, Bettina Korek, and Jo Ellison.
