Tiffany & Co. Names Natalie Portman Global Ambassador

The actress appears in a new campaign shot at Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship

Tiffany & Co. has named Natalie Portman its newest global brand ambassador, adding the Academy Award-winning actress to a roster that includes Anya Taylor-Joy, Greta Lee, Mikey Madison, Chase Sui Wonders and Rosé. The appointment positions Portman as a new face of the American jeweler’s global campaigns and storytelling initiatives.

Anthony Ledru, president and chief executive officer of Tiffany & Co., said Portman’s presence aligns with the house’s values, citing her sophistication, authenticity and intelligence. He described her as embodying the modern Tiffany woman, reflecting a balance of elegance and confidence as the brand continues to evolve its narrative.

The announcement coincides with a new campaign photographed by Gordon von Steiner inside Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship, The Landmark. In the imagery, Portman wears pieces from the HardWear by Tiffany, Sixteen Stone by Tiffany and Knot by Tiffany collections, with HardWear positioned as a central focus.

Portman’s relationship with Tiffany & Co. spans several years. At the 2011 Academy Awards, where she won Best Actress for Black Swan, she wore Paloma Picasso rubellite tassel earrings along with Jean Schlumberger flame earrings styled in her hair. More recently, she appeared in Tiffany jewelry at the Cannes Film Festival, selecting a diamond Wave necklace, platinum diamond earrings and an 18-karat white gold diamond ring.

Speaking about the HardWear collection, Portman noted its connection to New York, referencing architectural forms and the Manhattan skyline. She emphasized the versatility of the designs, which transition between everyday wear and formal occasions.

The campaign will extend into film, with directors Mona Fastvold and Brady Corbet creating a short through Magna Studios, featuring cinematography by Hoyte van Hoytema. The film is set to premiere during the upcoming Oscars broadcast.

Portman described the film as an exploration of different forms of love, with scenes reflecting various stages of a woman’s life, from professional ambition to personal relationships and introspection. The campaign introduces her as a central figure in Tiffany & Co.’s evolving global storytelling.
