The annual New York Fashion Week fundraiser will support four nonprofit organizations dedicated to ending gender-based violence through survivor services, prevention, and advocacy
The Kering Foundation has announced the return of its annual Caring for Women Dinner, which will take place on September 10 at The Pool in New York City. Marking its fifth edition, the benefit will once again kick off New York Fashion Week, with founding co-hosts Salma Hayek Pinault and François-Henri Pinault joined by Pamela Anderson, Simone Biles, Benicio Del Toro, Nacho Figueras, Dakota Johnson, and Lorna Simpson.

Since its debut in 2022, the Caring for Women Dinner has become one of fashion week’s leading philanthropic events, bringing together figures from fashion, film, art, music, sports, and philanthropy in support of the Kering Foundation’s mission to end gender-based violence. The evening will include a live performance and an auction featuring exclusive experiences and creations from Kering’s Houses, including Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, and Ginori 1735.
Following the more than $4.5 million raised at the 2025 edition, proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Activating Change, Fondo Semillas, JBWS, and The New York Women’s Foundation’s Girls and Young Women Fund. Together, the organizations provide survivor-centered services, prevention programs, advocacy, and community support for women, children, people with disabilities, Deaf communities, and gender-expansive youth affected by violence.
Established in 2008, the Kering Foundation partners with specialized nonprofit organizations across six countries to help prevent gender-based violence, support survivors, and mobilize resources for long-term change. The annual Caring for Women Dinner remains one of its flagship fundraising initiatives, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to advancing safety, dignity, and opportunity for women and children worldwide.
