To augment their recent collection celebrating the Greek island of Mykonos, the house of Dior has opened a new pop-up store located at Nammos shopping village on the island from June 15 to October 15.
The opening marks the first time the house has opened up a shop in the Greek islands and marks an important occasion for Dior as Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s Creative Director, has designed an exclusive capsule collection just for Mykonos.
The front of the building evokes the traditional architecture of the cycladic islands of Greece with geometric lines blending into the natural surrounding landscape.
The pop-up in many ways is a return to the houses heritage since founder, Christian Dior, spent some time on the island in the 50’s working with locally crafted fabrics.
