Review of Alexander McQueen Spring 2022 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Sarah Burton with Talent Lucia Fairfill

Alexander McQueen follows up their signature The Curve bag with their Spring Summer 2022 rendition, the Soft Curve. This tweak of the original bag features a drawstring closure on a sculptural design that features their classic harness detail and is available in eight colors: black, light grey, white, ivory, leather black, neon pink, cerulean blue, and yellow. 

A brilliant blue sky juxtaposes the black accessory accents on a model who strikes the balance between 50’s classic and rocker chic. Her black leather belt and buckled boots that stomp on the heart,  while sculptural curved bangles accent her grip on the Soft Curve bag. Pastel blues and yellows bring an airy light quality to this otherwise grounded bag, which would stand upright like a bucket on a dirt path.
