Carin Backoff

Carin Backoff is a New York fashion photographer and filmmaker. She moved to New York City in the early 2000’s to pursue a career in photography. Carin’s work caught the eye of creative director Katie Grand, which led to extensive assignments for Love magazine, including cover stories and features starring the likes of Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Nicole Kidman. Carin’s vibrant photographs uniquely celebrate each subject’s spirit & beauty, but also their strength, capturing an intimacy that feels both innate and empowered. She forges genuine connections with her subjects, creating pictures that allow the audience to do the same.
