The World No. 1 tennis player joined friends of the House at Claridge’s to mark the launch of Gucci’s new campaign
Gucci hosted an intimate dinner at Claridge’s Restaurant in London on June 22 to celebrate the launch of its new ‘Made in Italy’ campaign alongside tennis player and Global Brand Ambassador Jannik Sinner.

The event arrives as Sinner prepares for his sixth consecutive appearance at Wimbledon and continues his reign as World No. 1 in the ATP rankings. For Gucci, the campaign reflects a renewed focus on the values and heritage associated with Italian craftsmanship, expressed through one of the country’s most prominent contemporary athletes.
Rooted in the House’s origins, ‘Made in Italy’ highlights a shared connection between tradition and individuality. Gucci positions Sinner as a modern embodiment of Italian identity, recognizing both his achievements on the court and his distinctive presence beyond it. The campaign underscores the athlete’s ability to balance respect for the conventions of tennis with an approach that continues to challenge expectations.
The collaboration also builds on Gucci’s longstanding relationship with the sport. Tennis has remained a recurring source of inspiration for the House for more than five decades, informing collections, campaigns, and a broader dialogue between athletic performance and fashion.
To mark the campaign’s debut, Gucci and Sinner welcomed a group of friends of the House to the London gathering. Attendees included Salma Hayek Pinault, Naomi Ackie, Sabine Getty, Kaytranada, Fabien Frankel, Lila Moss, Ledbyher, Solv, Olympia of Greece, Nia Smith, Saura Lightfoot Leon, Tish Weinstock, Camille Charrière, and Susie Lau.
Held just ahead of the start of Wimbledon, the dinner served as both a celebration of the campaign and a reflection of Gucci’s continued exploration of contemporary Italian culture through figures whose influence extends beyond their respective fields.
