The visual series pairs the House’s signature fragrances with a cast of characters shaped by transformation and reinvention
Mugler Fragrances has unveiled a new editorial project in collaboration with Emma Chamberlain, presenting a series of images and films centered on the transformative power of fragrance. The project positions Chamberlain across multiple characters and archetypes associated with the Mugler universe, with each persona connected to a different fragrance from the House’s portfolio.

The series features Mugler’s signature Angel and Alien fragrances alongside A*Men Eau de Toilette and Over The Musk from the Les Exceptions collection. Through a combination of photography and film, the project explores fragrance as a catalyst for identity and self-expression, reinforcing the cinematic and transformative codes historically associated with Mugler.
Chamberlain appears throughout the project wearing looks from Mugler Creative Director Miguel Castro Freitas’ debut collection for the House, Stardust Aphrodite Spring/Summer 2026. The collection, which introduced Castro Freitas’ contemporary interpretation of glamour and mythology, provides the visual framework for the editorial narrative.
Photographed by Karen Roze and filmed by Léonie Doligé, the project continues Mugler’s broader emphasis on image-making and character-driven storytelling across both fashion and beauty. Chamberlain’s appointment as collaborator reflects the brand’s interest in personalities whose public image is closely tied to reinvention and individuality.
The editorial arrives as Mugler continues to expand the dialogue between its fragrance business and fashion identity under Castro Freitas’ creative direction, using visual storytelling to reinforce the House’s established themes of transformation, fantasy, and performance.
