Sunnei Unveils Gallery at Milan Flagship

The new space blends shopping, coffee, and contemporary art under one roof

Sunnei has officially unveiled the final piece of its new Milan flagship: a dedicated Gallery space located within the brand’s “Flagship Store–Café–Gallery.” While the Store and Café opened to the public in March, the Gallery remained a secret—until its official reveal on Thursday, April 17.

Conceived as more than just a shopping destination, the new flagship is designed to serve as a cultural hub for the Milanese community. Whether stopping by for a coffee or to experience an art exhibition, visitors are invited into a multi-sensory environment shaped by Sunnei’s signature blend of creativity and community.

Tucked behind the retail and café spaces, the Gallery spans 50 square meters, its whitewashed walls and red brick flooring offering a minimalist canvas for a rotating roster of artists. The inaugural exhibition features Lithuanian artist Anastasia Sosunova, whose work merges sculpture, video, installation, and graphic art into deeply layered narratives.

Sosunova is also the cover star of the latest issue of L’Essenziale Studio, Sunnei’s in-house magazine. The issue includes a conversation with founders Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo, offering insight into the vision behind their new hybrid space. Fittingly, the Gallery opening also doubled as the launch event for the magazine’s latest edition.

The occasion formed part of MOMENTO SUNNEI, a series of monthly events that bring the Sunnei community together for curated experiences—both in person and via live stream on YouTube. This inaugural gathering sets the tone for future programming aimed at cultivating intimate, meaningful interactions with the brand’s extended creative family.

Anastasia Sosunova’s exhibition will remain on view at the Gallery until April 26.
