Nestled in the heart of SoHo at 52 Wooster Street, this concept store, launched last September, serves as a dynamic showcase for the diverse array of Yohji Yamamoto’s brands, offering a unique glimpse into the designer’s universe. The collaboration, which commenced in 2018, merges the distinctive BACKLASH leather, meticulously crafted by Japanese artisans, with Yohji Yamamoto’s signature patterns and silhouettes, resulting in a collection of unparalleled elegance and sophistication.
The Spring/Summer 2024 Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme and Isamu Katayama Backlash collaboration features nine distinct models, including jackets, blousons, a shirt jacket, and a jumper, embodying the essence of modern luxury with a hint of avant-garde flair. To commemorate the launch, customers visiting the Yohji Yamamoto New York Wooster boutique will receive a limited-edition photo book, showcasing captivating visuals capturing the essence of the collaboration.
