The Former Fear of God Executive Succeeds Anouck Duranteau-Loeper at the Paris Fashion House
Isabel Marant has named Catherine Jacquet Chief Executive Officer, effective next month, as the Paris-based brand enters a new leadership chapter.

Jacquet joins the company from Fear of God, where she most recently served as Chief Operating Officer in Los Angeles. Prior to that, she was General Manager of Lemaire in Paris and held senior leadership roles at Courrèges, Sonia Rykiel, Paco Rabanne and Maison Michel Paris.
A graduate of the Institut Français de la Mode, Jacquet began her career in product and marketing roles at brands including Naf Naf and Levi Strauss & Co. before moving into executive management positions across the luxury sector.
She succeeds Anouck Duranteau-Loeper, who is stepping down “to pursue other professional opportunities,” according to the company. Market sources indicate Duranteau-Loeper is expected to join Saint Laurent as the house continues to strengthen its executive structure under CEO Cédric Charbit.
In announcing the appointment, Isabel Marant highlighted Jacquet’s experience driving growth and brand development across international fashion businesses.
“Catherine is a proven leader with a strong understanding of our DNA and a clear vision to realize the company’s potential,” Founder Isabel Marant said in a statement.
Jacquet described the appointment as “a deep honor,” adding that she has long admired the house’s “unique heritage and distinctive identity.”
“I look forward to working with the talented teams at Isabel Marant to write the next chapter of the company’s story,” she said.
Founded in 1994, Isabel Marant became synonymous with a relaxed, distinctly Parisian take on bohemian dressing, helping define the global rise of effortless French fashion throughout the 2000s and 2010s.
Jacquet’s appointment comes at a moment when luxury brands are increasingly balancing creative identity with operational discipline as the sector navigates slower growth and shifting consumer behavior.
