The Next Experiential Runway Event From the Iconic American Designer Will be Held in the Hamptons on September 5
Ralph Lauren is making his return to the runway on September 5, marking the start of New York Fashion Week with a destination show close to his heart – in the Hamptons.
The exact location of the show is set to be revealed in the upcoming weeks. Lauren expressed his deep connection to the Hamptons, stating,
The Hamptons is more than a place. It’s a natural world of endless blue skies, the ocean, green fields, and white fences, rusticity and elegance… It has been home, my refuge, and always an inspiration.”
The Hamptons have played a key role for Ralph Lauren’s distinct lifestyle aesthetic and brand iconography alongside other key locations like the American West, Colorado, Jamaica, and New York City.
Ralph Lauren’s experiential approach to runway shows always makes them a highlight. Most recently, he staged his Spring 2024 collection in a barn at the Brooklyn Navy Yard last year, while his Fall 2024 show was held at his offices on Madison Avenue in New York in June.
The Ralph Lauren company established its presence in the Hamptons in 1992 with the opening of its Country Store in East Hampton. Over the years, the brand has continued to be involved in the community, opening stores and committing to historical preservation initiatives.
Despite the challenges in the luxury market, Ralph Lauren exceeded profit expectations in the fourth quarter, showing growth in brand positioning and revenues. The brand’s direct-to-consumer business saw a 6 percent increase in sales due to price adjustments and full-price retail purchases.
