Loewe Goes “With The Flow” Into Spring 2021
Inspired by the streamlined design of 1970s track shoes, Loewe has introduced a new shoe for spring 2021, the Flow runner. This piece of footwear is the house’s latest addition to the sneaker family for women and men. A minimal style named for its distinctive waved sole that ‘flows’ over the heel and toe, the Flow runner is crafted in Italy and features padded nylon, suede and smooth calf leather uppers, a tri-colour sole, and raw cut leather heel panel for a modern, deconstructed feel.
To kick-off the collection Loewe teamed with photographer, director and visual artist Laura McCluskey to do a holistic narrative. Shot on location against a coastal backdrop, the campaign spotlights the Flow runner’s characteristic waved lines and clean construction with a film and photo series that express a sense of freedom, lightness and escape.
