AGENT PROVOCATEUR Heads to the slopes for Holiday

BY KENNETH RICHARD

Leave it to the team at Agent Provocateur to add a ‘wink’ to the holiday’s as they hit the slopes with their new  holiday collection. One of the brands best assets is their sense of humor which isn’t as easy a feat to pull off as one may think. We are talking garters and stockings after all. However, this season the team partnered with photographer Liz Collins to create an updated pin-up in model Abbey Clancy for their seasonal lookbook.

The entire lookbook reminds us that set designers can be the unsung heroes of campaigns and involving them earlier in the concepting phase is a value add. One of the sets smartest props is the directional signs, all named after classic items in the collection: Molly, Soiree Vega, Willa, Dakotta, and others. The work is so solid that it leaves The Impression wondering what would happen if you ask the staging team to concept an ad campaign. Chances are, like the clothes, there wouldn’t be a thing that was seamless.
