Alber Elbaz Exits Lanvin afer 14 years at helm
Industry icon and Creative Director of Lanvin, Alber Elbaz is leaving Lanvin, “on the decision of the company’s majority shareholder.” Elbaz’s departure is reported to have followed disagreements between himself and Lanvin’s owner Shaw-Lan Wang and Chief Executive Michèle Huiban. His successor has not yet been named.

Journelle’s CEO Claire Chambers Steps Down
Claire Chambers, founder of New York-based lingerie retailer Journelle, is stepping down from her role as CEO. Chambers foundered the label in 2007 and will be succeeded by various members of her management team including Lyn Lewis, Journelle’s Director of Operations and Stores, who will lead the business.

Joyce Green has been promoted to the position of EVP of Fashion for the Chanel U.S., effective January 2016. Since 2014 Green was SVP of multi brand retail in the fashion division at Chanel. She joined Chanel is 2007 having previously held roles at Clarins, Guerlain, and Kiehl’s.

Lifestyle online retailer Moda Operandi, has named Chloe Sippe as GMM, Non-Apparel. Sippe was previously at Net-a-Porter where she was Global Senior Buyer in London. Prior to that she held buying roles at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and David Jones in Australia. In her new role she will be reporting directly to Mary Chiam, VP Merchandising & Planning.
