Abercrombie Taps Ashley Sargent Price as Creative Marketing Director
Abercrombie & Fitch Co. has appointed Ashley Sargent Price SVP and Creative Director of Marketing. Price joins Abercrombie from J. Crew, where she worked as SVP of Brand Creative overseeing the creative teams for J. Crew, Crewcuts and Madewell. Sargent Price owned her namesake consulting firm prior to that, counting Coach, GAP, Tiffany & Co., and Urban Outfitters as clients. She previously held creative direction roles at Anthropologie and Delias.
CMO Martine Reardon Departs Macy’s
After 32 years of service at Macy’s Inc., Chief Marketing Officer Martine Reardon is stepping down on May 13th. Reardon held the role of Macy’s CMO since 2011.
Revlon Taps Juan R. Figuereo as CFO
Revlon Inc. has named Juan R. Figuereo as EVP CFO. Previously Figuereo was EVP and CFO of NII Holdings Inc., a telecommunications business. Prior to that, he was EVP CFO at Newell Rubbermaid Inc., and Cott Corp. Figuereo was also VP of Mergers and Acquisitions at Wal-Mart International and held various roles at Pepsi Co.
Estée Lauder Appoints Stephane de la Faverie as Global Brand President
Stephane de la Faverie has been named Global Brand President of the Estée Lauder division at the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. starting in July. De la Faverie was recently Global Brand President of the Origins and Darphin divisions. Prior to that he served as SVP and Global GM of Estée Lauder’s Aramis and the Designer Fragrances division.
Maria Cristina Gonzalez Noguera Returns to Estée Lauder as SVP Global Public Affairs
After several years at the White House as Special Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for First Lady Michelle Obama, Maria Cristina Gonzalez Noguera is returning to Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. as SVP Global Public Affairs. Previously Gonzalez Noguera was VP Corporate Communications at Estée Lauder. Gonzalez Noguera began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Banco Popular.
Estée Lauder’s EMEA President Ivan Fernandez to Retire
Ivan Fernandez is retiring from Estée Lauder this August as President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Fernandez has been with Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. for 25 years and will be succeeded by Peter Jueptner.
Estée Lauder Appoints Peter Jueptner President EMEA
Peter Jueptner has been named President of the European, Middle Eastern and African region of Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. starting in September. For the last seven years Jueptner has held the role of EVP of Strategy, New Business Development and Transformation Initiatives at Estée Lauder. During that time he has overseen the acquisition of six properties including Smashbox. Prior to Estée Lauder, Jueptnerwas SVP Strategy and M&A at Philip Morris International. He began his career with The Boston Consulting Group.
Nancy Mahon Named SVP Citizenship and Sustainability at Estée Lauder
Nancy Mahon has been named SVP of Global Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability at Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. Previously she held the title of SVP for Global Philanthropy and Citizenship at the firm, a position to which she was appointed by President Obama in 2011. Prior to joining Estée Lauder, Mahon was Chairperson of The Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS at the US Department of Health and Human Services. Prior to working in government, Mahon had held various roles at Estée Lauder, including SVP at MAC Cosmetics.
Jill Scalamandre Named President Shiseido Americas
Shiseido Americas Corp. has tapped Jill Salamander as President of the newly created Global Makeup Center of Excellence. Scalamandre was previously SVP Philosophy Brand and Chief Marketing Officer at Coty Skincare. Prior to that, she held various marketing roles at Prada Beauty, Avon, and Frederic Fekkai.
Old Navy Appoints Sonia Syngal as Global President
Gap Inc. has named Sonia Syngal as Global President of Old Navy. Syngal was previously EVP of Global Supply Chain and Product Operations for all the company’s brands at Gap Inc. Since joining Gap in 2004, Syngal has held various roles, including Managing Director for Gap Inc.’s Europe business as well as SVP Old Navy International. Prior to Gap, Syngal spent 10 years at Sun Microsystems and 6 years with Ford Motor Company.
Giovanni Giunchedi Named CEO of Richard Ginori
Kering-owned renowned Italian fine porcelain brand, Richard Ginori, has appointed Giovanni Giunchedi as CEO. Giunchedi, most recently Bottega Veneta’s Sustainability Director, was previously CEO of Sergio Rossi until the acquisition of the footwear brand by Investindustrial last December.

Sustainable eco-fashion company Amour Vert has tapped Aaron Hoey as President. Hoey was previously the Chief Merchandise Officer of Anthropologie. Prior to that, Hoey spent 14 years at Gap in various roles, including DMM of Gap Men’s and Managing Director of the brand’s Product (Red) campaign.
