bold moves-gucci.001Frida Giannini, Patrizio di Marco Exit Gucci, New CEO Appointed
Kering, the French based parent company of Gucci, announced that Creative Director Frida Giannini and Chief Executive Officer Patrizio di Marco are leaving the company. Gucci makes up half of Kerings revenues and has reported declining sales for the last year. Frida Giannini, who has been with the house since 2002, will leave after showing the 2015 fall-winter collection in February. Her successor  has yet to be named. Di Marco, who led the brand for almost six years, will be replaced as CEO by luxury couture and leather goods division head Marco Bizzarri effective January.

After three decades at the helm, Michael Jeffries, Abercrombie & Fitch’s longtime CEO is retiring effective immediately. The New Albany, Ohio-based company will be overseen by executive chairman Arthur Martinez until a new CEO is appointed. Jeffries, 70, had come under fire as the Abercrombie and Hollister stores have reported sales declines for 11 straight quarters.

Cerruti Names Richard Cohen New CEO
Richard Cohen, chief executive of the Hong Kong-based Trinity Group, is replacing Catherine Vautrin, previously CEO of Cerruti, who is leaving the company after three years.

Stéphane Linder, CEO of TAG Heuer’s exits
The president and chief executive of Switzerland-based watch company TAG Heuer, Stéphane Linder, is resigning after 18 months. Jean-Claude Biver, who was appointed head of LVMH’s watch business in March, will take over as TAG Heuer’s interim CEO.

Suzanne Silverstein, previously Vice President of Sales for Seven for All Mankind, is now President of Parker, the contemporary dress company owned by Kellwood Co.

Victoria Ashley, previously Freelance Consultant, is now Head of Global PR at Revlon.

Erin Haggerty, previously PR Director for Womenswear at Calvin Klein, is now Director of Corporate Communications at the company.

Julie Beynon, previously PR Director at Michael Kors, is now PR Director for Womenswear at Calvin Klein.

Jenia Molnar, previously VP of PR and Special Events at Guess, is now Divisional VP of PR and Events at Lord & Taylor.

Christine Grossi, previously Senior Account Executive at C&M Media, is now Senior Public Relations Manager at BCBG Max Azria.

Yadim Carranza has joined British publication Dazed and Confused as its new beauty editor. Known simply as Yadim, the makeup artist portfolio includes working for brands such as Calvin Klein, Dior,  Balmain, and H&M.

Stacy Nathan, previously Advertising Director at Allure, is now Associate Publisher at Seventeen.
