Revlon names Benjamin Karsch appointed EVP, CMO
Previous CMO at the health insurance company Cigna, Benjamin Karsch, joined Revlon as EVP, CMO. Karsh will lead global brand marketing, product development, consumer engagement and public relations of the company’s consumer division. Prior to Cigna, Karsh held roles at Las Vegas Sands, McKinsey & Co., Procter & Gamble Co. and Johnson & Johnson. He reports to Lorenzo Delpani, the firm’s CEO.
Mario Boselli Resigns from Italian Fashion Chamber
Mario Boselli, longstanding President of the Italian Fashion Chamber who joined them in 1999, has stepped down. Boselli, 73, has held the position since succeeding Santo Versace. The board is now looking for a successor.
Federica Marchionni appointed CEO of Lands’ End
Current President of Dolce & Gabbana US, Frederica Marchionni, has been named CEO of Lands’ End. Marchionni joined Dolce & Gabbana in 2001 as a global group director and became president in 2011. She will replace CEO Edgar Huber, who has resigned his post.
Mike McNamara named CIO at Target Corp
Mike McNamara has been appointed to VP and Chief Information Officer with Target Corp. McNamara, former CIO of U.K. based Tesco PLC, will focus on enhancing Target Corp. data and technology infrastructure and security. The new CIO will join the company after the data breach in 2013, where hackers stole Target customer’s accounts.
Hudson’s Bay Promotes MaryAnne Morin, Mary Turner
Hudson’s Bay Co., parent company of Hudson’s Bay and Lord & Taylor, promoted MaryAnne Morin to EVP and Chief Merchant and Mary Turner to Head of Business Development.
Morin, former EVP for Merchandising for center core, is filling the roll that had been vacant since Liz Rodbell was appointed President in 2013. She has been with the firm for 22 years.
Turner, former EVP of Merchandising, will be responsible for identifying exclusive brands and developing merchandise concepts. She has been with the firm for 10 years and has worked with both Lord & Taylor and Hudson’s Bay since 2012.
Jamie O’Hare appointed Creative Director of Issa
Jamie O’Hare will replace Blue Farrier as Creative Director of Issa. O’Hare was previously with See by Chloé for seven years and has also held design positions in Paris and Florence. His first collection will be showcased during London Fashion Week on February 22.
Topshop appoints Jacqui Markham Global Design Director
Jacqui Markham, former Women’s Design director of Asos.com, has been appointed to Global Design Director of Topshop. Markham is responsible for overseeing the brand’s 60 in-house design teams and coordinating with Kate Phelan, Creative Director of Topshop. Jacqui is familiar with Topshop, having previously worked at the brand for 14 year as Design Director before her tenure at Asos.com.
Pal Zileri appoints Paolo Torello-Viera CEO US
Paolo Torello-Viera, former CEO of BVM North America, which controls Les Copains, has been appointed to CEO of men’s Itlaian Label Pal Zileri America. Priot to BVM, Torello-Viera served as COO at Samuelsohn, CoExecutive VP of Retail at Brioni, and worked with the Ermenegildo Zenga Group for 15 years. He will be responsible for the development of both retail and wholesale channels in the US.
Monica Ross named Managing Director of Chinti and Parker
Monica Ross has been appointed as Managing Director of British label Chinti and Parker. Ross previously was the Vice President of Burberry’s digital commerce for 10 years. Prior to Burberry, Ross was Director of Concessions at House of Fraser and Women’s Buying Director with Selfridges.

Blake Metzger, previously Junior PR Executive at MR PORTER, is now PR and Events Coordinator for Men’s, Beauty, and Home at Saks Fifth Avenue.

US Vogue Editor, Caroline Palmer, Moves to Amazon
After 7 years as an Editor at US Vogue.com, Caroline Palmer is joining Amazon Fashion as its new Director of Editorial & Social. Palmer will be responsible for determining which clothing, footwear and accessories trends populate the site and its corresponding social platforms.
Lucky Magazine Lays Off 8 and names Jean Godfrey June as Editor-at-Large
Lucky Magazine, now part Condé Nast new publishing venture with BeachMint, announced changes on the eve of their LuckyShops.com’s launch next week. Eight editorial staff members, including Production Director Donna Sollecito, have been laid off. Jean Godfrey June, previously Beauty Director, is now eEditor-at-Large and will continue her monthly beauty column. In other moves, Executive Fashion Director, Alexis Bryan Morgan, is also leaving Lucky Magazine for a new role with a different title to be announced shortly.
Alex Wiederin, currently Creative Director at Buero New York, has also been named Executive Design Director at Town & Country.
Luke Day named Editor at GQ Style UK
Luke Day, previously Fashion Director, has been promoted to Editor of biannual men’s title GQ Style UK. Day has been at the title since September 2010. He previously held the position of Fashion Director with Attitude Magazine and Arena Homme. Day will succeed Ben Reardon, who has stepped down.
Jim Windolf, previously Editor at M, is now Editor of Men’s Style at The New York Times.
