She will report to cofounders Sybil Yurman and David Yurman, the latter of whom stepped into the CEO role fourteen months ago when the CEO at the time, Glen Senk, left the firm.

Forte is known industry wide for her international experience and business acumen, having spearheaded luxury houses including Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, and Giorgio Armani. Prior to Yurman, Forte consulted for Dolce & Gabbana and was GM of their beauty division, having previously been the President of Dolce & Gabbana USA. Her previous roles include CEO of, as well as COO and President of Calvin Klein, where she helped the house expand its global business.

She came to industry prominence having spent fifteen years in key roles at Giorgio Armani, including EVP. She is credited with building the designer’s U.S. business and acting as his right-hand in all business dealings globally, including retail and marketing.
