John Hardy with Julianne Moore and Adwoa Aboah Define What it Means to be a Legend

What does it mean to be a legend? Artisan handcrafted jewelry brand, John Hardy, teams up with MATTE Projects to answer that question with their new campaign “Made for Legends” with actress Julianne Moore, and model Adwoa Aboah.

Shot by Luigi Murenu and Iango Henzi, Moore and Aboah define what it means to be a legend. They tell the story of the pieces of jewelry such as the Classic Chain, Modern Chain, and the Naga Collections. They also discuss their shared values of purposefulness, passion, and fearlessness.

“These women are true legends. John Hardy is honored to collaborate with such daring role models. They inspire women everywhere to create their own legend through the courage of their convictions, also reflected through their choices and personal expression wearing powerful, unique artisan hand-crafted jewelry,” says Robert Hanson, CEO of John Hardy.

The brand celebrates the power of femininity through wearing jewelry to express, empower, and, to most importantly, honor the unstoppable potential of oneself.

Moore, through her experienced acting career, and role as a mother, states “Your legacy is more than what you’ve accomplished – it’s your story, your myth.” Aboah uses with her voice of activism through “Gurls Talk,” her organization that create an open environment for girls to share what it means to be a girl in the 21st century. She states “Vulnerability to me is pure strength. Self-love, that’s really powerful – I love the idea of gifting yourself.”

At The Impression, we believe being legendary is where you can have a voice to empower, and inspire people from all backgrounds. These women are legends in their lines of creative work. However, with the effort they put in where they make a difference in the lives of those around them and allow for the voices of the unheard to be heard, is where they continue to be legendary.
