The Impression’s Look at Models of the Moment


Model exclusives for runways are not as common as one would think but they are an amazing way to be introduced to the fashion set, as is the case for Lineisy Montero, who was introduced to the runway at Milan fashion week by a little-known brand named Prada.Lineisy Montero.001

This is no small feat for a  19-year-old hailing from the Dominican Republic, especially since the house inexplicably went 15 years without a single black model on its runway between 1997, when Naomi Campbell walked for the house, until 2008, when Jourdan Dunn broke the dry spell.

Post Milan Lineisy went on to Paris, where she walked for Balenciaga, Loewe, Céline, Givenchy, and closed the Stella McCartney show. And of course she did Miu Miu. The Impression is excited to watch her career grow and will especially be interested in seeing her Fall 2015 ad campaign season.
