Traversing the fine line between commercialism and artisanal craftsmanship, Milan has carried the weight of both delivering the bank to buyers as well as the design to enthusiasts. This season saw the designer Alessandro Michele being sure-footed with his renaissance for the house of Gucci. Miuccia Prada delivered a collection with buy now-accessories balanced with  work commissioned from the artist Christophe Chemin; literally balancing art and commerce. Jeremy Scott took a torch to Moschino and rather than burning down the house, ignited a phoenix with a collection that was as pure to the DNA as the original designer himself. Here are THE IMPRESSION’S TOP 10 MILAN WOMEN’S DESIGNER COLLECTIONS OF FALL 2016.
