The Store Scout | VERSACE Moscow

BY  CHELSEA MONTANI

Versace opened a new boutique located in Moscow’s historical department store, GUM. The boutique is located in the heart of Moscow with the concept for the store conceived in a collaborative effort between Donatella Versace and English architect Jamie Fobert.

The 115 square meter boutique blends traditional Italian architecture with the dynamic energy of Versace today. The onyx walls with the Fior di Pesco marble floors and brass elements create the luxurious and contemporary atmosphere to display prêt-à-porter accessories and collections for both men and women.

I just adore the design of the Versace Concept Stores, which pays tribute to Italy’s cultural heritage. In fulfilling this project Jamie Fobert has created a space in which the Versace spirit can take flight. For me the boutique suggests an uninterrupted dialogue between our past and our future, between me and Jamie Fobert and obviously between Versace and our clients.
