Marcus Wainwright Becomes Chief Brand Officerof Rag & Bone Founder of Rag & Bone, Marcus Wainwright is stepping down from his position as Chief Executive Officer to the brand he launched in 2002. Wainwright is not leaving the brand but will take on the new positions of Chief Brand Officer, overseeing Rag & Bone’s creative direction.
Rag & Bone Taps Stefanie Strack as CEO Succeeding Marcus Wainwright as Chief Executive Officer of Rag & Bone is Stefanie Strack, in a move that is effective September 10th. Strack joins from Nike where she has been for years and most recently served as VP and General Manager of Nike Express Lane.
Harrods Promotes Annalise Fard to Fashion Accessories Director Annalise Fard has been promoted at Harrods to Fine Watches & Jewellery and Fashion Accessories Director. She will be overseeing these sectors in addition to her current role of Home Director. Fard first joined Harrods in 1997, and rejoined in 2007 after serving as Vice President of Sales at Blissworld.
Michael Kors Appoints Mona Swanson to VP of Communications, US Mona Swanson has been tapped by Michael Kors to be the new VP of Communications for the brand’s US operations. Swanson joins the company from Valentino where she previously served in the same role of VP of Communications, US. Prior to that, she held the role of Director of Communications at both Theory and Helmut Lang. Swanson has also held PR roles at Louis Vuitton and Coach.
Maesa Names Kattie Roh as VP of Sales for Mass, Drug, and Beauty Retailers Cosmetics company Maesa has tapped Kattie Roh as VP of Sales for Mass, Drug and Beauty Retailers. Previously, Roh worked at NYX as a National Account Manager. In her new role with Maesa, Roh will be reporting to Co-founder and Chief Executive, Julien Saada.
Brian Beitler Tapped as J. Jill CMO J. Jill has named Brian Beitler as J. Jill Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, and Brand Development Officer. Previously, Beitler was EVP and CMO of Lane Bryant, Catherines, and David’s Bridal. Beitler has also served as the Chairman of the Board for the Global Retail Marketing Association.
Shelley Liebsch Appointed to J. Jill Chief Merchandising Officer J. Jill has tapped Shelley Liebsch as their new SVP and Chief Merchandising Officer. Previously Liebsch was SVP of Merchandising and Design at Destination Maternity. Prior to that, she was Senior Merchandiser at Urban Outfitters, Victoria’s Secret, Bloomingdales, and InStyle Magazine.
Annica Litavis, previously Sr. PR Coordinator at Vince, is now PR & Events Manager at The Webster.
Lauren Bernstein, previously Sr. Editor, Branded Content at Hearst Digital Media, is now VP Editorial Content at Macy’s.
Kate Lewis Succeeds Joanna Coles at Hearst Magazines Hearst Magazines chief content officer Joanna Coles has stepped down after 12 years with the company. She is succeeded by senior vice president and editorial director Kate Lewis. Lewis joined Hearst Magazines Digital Media as vice president of content operations and editorial director in 2014. Her promotion closely follows Troy Young’s appointment as president of the publishing company.
