Christian Siriano expands his talent with the debut of his newest endeavor, “The Curated NYC.” The store is located in midtown adjacent to NYC’s Central Park.
The neo-Renaissance 1900’s-era townhouse at one time housed Faberge Headquarters as well as actor Cary Grant’s office. The designer hand selected display furniture and décor from Todd Merrill, Kelly Wearstler, Houtique of Spain, Milo Baughman, John Dickinson, Douglas Homer as well as showcase vintage pieces from the 1960s and 1970s.
“The goal was to curate and develop a new interactive and customer driven shopping experience. The Curated NYC will bring together designer and client relationships closer than ever before,” said Siriano. “We want all customers from all over the world – no matter age, size, or where they come from – to feel comfortable shopping within a new beautiful curated store that showcases some of the best designers in the world.”
The eight-floor building, which contains Siriano’s atelier and offices, will also have a coffee shop, Joye & Rose, which will feature pastries, dessert and bread from the Balthazar Bakery. The Rose Café, a vegan café with delicacies created by actress, longtime animal activist and friend of the Christian Siriano brand, Alicia Silverstone, will be ready by summer on the rooftop.
The space of the store will emphasize Christian Siriano’s collection of clothing, shoes and handbags along with featured designers Universal Standard, David Hart Menswear, Betto Garcia, Stephanie Kantis, and Irene Lummertz. Select pieces from travel and lifestyle brand Objectifs, books published by Rizzoli and pieces by artists Ewa Budka and Rebecca Russo will also be available for purchase.
