Coach has unveiled its 2018 holiday campaign dubbed “Lights, Camera, Holiday” featuring none other than Selena Gomez, an actress, singer, and the global face of Coach for almost three years now.
Written and directed by creative duo Henry and Rel of Supermarché, the film is all-things holiday as Gomez auditions for the gig of the season, known as the Coach Holiday Window Display. But she isn’t alone. In fact, an unexpected cast of animated animals add to the holiday excitement. The playful campaign celebrates the fun and festivities that surround this time of year.
In addition to the film, photographer Steven Meisel, art director Fabien Baron, makeup artist Pat McGrath and stylist Guido Palau joined forces to create a print component for the campaign to go alongside the film. Gomez can be seen emerging from a vintage car with New York’s glittering skyline behind her.
Coach is set to release a series of short animated films on its social media channels. Gomez and her animal friends continue to compete for a role to star in the window display. And to top it all off, Coach fans in North America will get the exciting opportunity to be able to unlock video content and “Selena augmented reality” via CameraIQ technology at Coach stores while those in Japan will be able to play their own limited-edition Coach party animals game.
