Since 1983 Jean-Claude Jitrois has been rocking his eponymous leather brand along the way developing a devote following that aged with the Parisian designer.
For Jitrois’ Spring 2019 ad campaign the designer has once again teamed with Rankin and his agency The Full Service to help bring fresh perspective and youg blood to thier story,
I loved this shoot because I love working with people, and that’s what this was all about. We took everything back-to-basics and focused on character, bringing out each individual’s personality for some really honest and authentic moments. It had a real 90s feel on set and I found the whole thing really invigorating.
To bring the focus to the cast and the collection, the campaign was ‘all about simple but effective touches, avoiding anything overly complicated or extravagant. The corner sets, the grey backdrops and the industrial props were all designed to enhance the visuals without pulling focus.’
Often a clean slate helps a house establish a new foothold to jump off of with more storytelling. the cast has been set and The Impression looks forward to seeing where The Full Seervice takes the brand next.
