Louis Vuitton has just collaborated with the ever so fabulous part stylist, part illustrator Grace Coddington in quite possibly the cutest way possible through the creation of designs featuring Grace’s illustrations of her beloved felines.
Initially presented with select accessories at the Louis Vuitton resort 2019 show on the French Riviera, fashion’s new favorite collab exhibits Grace’s stylish twist on illustrations of her Persians Pumpkin and Blanket, as well as Nicolas Ghesquière’s dog Léon, displayed across the signature LV print as well as graphic bags shaped as animal faces. Located at the Selfridge & NYC pop-up shops is the wider collection fittingly entitled Catogram, which features ready-to-wear, scarves and shoes.
Notably featured at the London pop-up is an undoubtedly chic pair of silk monogrammed pajamas of a rusty-black color combo that further have Grace’s creative designs splattered on them—can you say Grace Coddington iconic PJ moment at the Met Gala 2.0?! Depicted in the short fashion film is Grace in her original pajamas, as well as the light-hearted nature of the collaboration.
Grace’s collaboration with LV is exciting, fresh and undeniably chic in the sense that it appeals to a larger audience of furry friend lovers, as well as the growing street-style trend for wearing one’s pajamas in the daytime.
The collection will hit the global market on November 2nd, but in the meantime check out the adorable pop-up located at 400 Oxford Street as well as the NYC pop-up open now at 3 Ninth Avenue.
