Louis Vuitton is showing love to the City of Angels this month with the opening of its “Time Capsule” exhibition at Westfield Century City on Santa Monica Blvd.
The fashion house first debuted the Time Capsule exhibit in Hong Kong in 2017 to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the HKSAR and the 25th anniversary silver Jubilee of Le French May.
The exhibit is a visual retrospective of the French atelier from its founding in to the present day, with a focus on key subjects such as Codes of the House, Journeys around the World, Elegance and Beauty in Motion, Icons of the House, and a Celebration of the House’s Past and Present.
Los Angeles will be the first stop for the “Time Capsule” exhibit, and it will be open to the public from May 18 to June 10.
Louis Vuitton held “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez,” its most recent exhibit in the US, in New York City, and prior to that held its Series 2 exhibit in Los Angeles. As for “Time Capsule,” the exhibit has been to Bangkok, Berlin, Singapore, Dubai and Shanghai.
